Lucie Marlo

Lucie grew up in Europe and Canada and has now made Victoria her home. At a young age Lucie was actively involved in the creative process and received recognition early in life by winning several local art competitions. Lucie’s love of people and nature was obviously present in the realism of her earlier work and is the continued theme in her present work. Her unique colourful style has been described as “representational symbolism” and she describes her painting process as a reflection of her life: her work’s reoccuring theme is maintaining optimism through life’s trials and tribulations.
