Artist's Information
Chin Yuen has lived in six countries and travels extensively. She is a prolific artist whose award winning paintings are exhibited and collected internationally in private and corporate collections. Her paintings are distinctive for their vibrant colours and dynamic compositions. She describes her creative process as a luxurious meditative act that combines the physical joy of painting with the analytical skills of problem solving. Her works are represented in galleries in the U.S., Canada, and Switzerland.
Yuen has a Bachelor of Fine Arts (with honors) from the prestigious Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design (Vancouver, BC) and a Master of Arts from the University of Victoria, BC. She lives in Victoria, BC.
